Police are investigating early morning shootings that left four people injured at three locations in the city.
Police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the 100 block of Wegman Parkway at around 4:15 a.m. where they arrived to find a male victim shot at that location. The man suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the legs.
A thorough search of the area had police locating a vehicle with two victims suffering gunshot wounds to the legs on West Side Ave. and Sip Street.
A fourth victim was found in the Twin City parking lot located in the 200 block of Sip Ave. also suffering a gunshot wound to the leg.
All of the victims were transported to Jersey City Medical Center where they are expected to survive their injuries.
Police are investigating a motive for the shootings.
