A serious four-vehicle crash that left several people critically injured, including an infant, is under investigation.
The crash occurred at approximately 2:45 p.m. in the 200 block of East Linden Avenue.
Authorities said two adults and an infant suffered critical injuries and were transported to University Hospital in Newark. Another adult was also hospitalized with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
The Union County Police Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
East Linden Avenue remains closed in both directions between Willow Glade and Wood avenues while authorities continue their investigation.
