Authorities in Bergen County say a months-long investigation has led to the arrests of four Bronx residents accused of carrying out a violent armed carjacking and robbery outside a Teaneck home last summer.
According to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella, investigators identified 34-year-old Emmanuel Almonte, 23-year-old Jender A. Santos Ulloa, 23-year-old Marolyn E. Mosquea Fernandez, and 21-year-old Armando Cuevas Cepeda as the suspects responsible for the August 3, 2025 attack.
The investigation was conducted by the Prosecutor’s Office under Chief Matthew Finck, along with the Teaneck Police Department led by Chief Andrew R. McGurr.
Police were called to Palisade Avenue around 5 a.m. after two Teaneck residents arrived home from New York City and were confronted in their driveway.
Investigators said a white Acura TLX pulled in behind them, blocking their vehicle.
Two masked suspects with handguns ordered the victims to the ground, then took cash and jewelry.
One suspect fled in the victims’ SUV while the Acura also left the scene.
Detectives later determined the Acura was using a stolen New Jersey license plate and had been linked to additional incidents in the region.
Through surveillance, investigative leads and interagency cooperation, detectives ultimately connected all four Bronx residents to the Teaneck carjacking.
Each suspect has been charged with first-degree armed carjacking, two counts of first-degree armed robbery, second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, and second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
Santos Ulloa was the first to be located and arrested on October 24 in Paterson with the assistance of Paterson police.
Cuevas Cepeda was arrested October 30 in Fort Lee. Both are being held at the Bergen County Jail.
Almonte, who was already in custody in New York City on an unrelated matter, was served with charges on November 13 and remains held at Rikers Island pending extradition.

Mosquea Fernandez was taken into custody on November 21 in the Bronx by the FBI Safe Streets Task Force.
She is also being held at Rikers Island while awaiting extradition to New Jersey.
