Four Bergen County Residents Charged in Drug Trafficking Ring; $520K in Cash Seized

Four Bergen County residents have been arrested and charged in connection with a drug trafficking operation that led to the seizure of more than $520,000 in cash, along with distribution quantities of narcotics and weapons, according to information released by the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General.

Authorities said Kwang Joo, 40, of Palisades Park, is accused of organizing the scheme and has been charged by complaint with first-degree conspiracy. 

Investigators allege the operation involved the distribution of cocaine, ketamine, MDMA (ecstasy), Adderall, Xanax, psilocybin, tusi, also known as “pink cocaine,” oxycodone, and marijuana.

 

Officials also charged Joo with possession of $520,000 believed to be proceeds of criminal activity, along with multiple drug distribution and weapons offenses.

 

Also arrested and charged in the investigation are Hannah Oh, 29, of Palisades Park; Sung Sohn, 45, of Englewood Cliffs; and Benjamin Oser, 41, of Fort Lee.
