A fatal two-vehicle crash on the Garden State Parkway Thursday morning has authorities investigating.
According to officials, police responded to the southbound lanes of the Garden State Parkway near milepost 81.6 in Toms River for a report of a crash involving two vehicles shortly after 8 a.m.
Police say on of the drivers was pronounced dead at 10:15 a.m. There were no other occupants in either vehicle.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
