Fatal Car Crash Under Investigation in Lindenwold

Police in Lindenwold are investigating a crash that left one person dead on Sunday evening.

According to police, they identified the 21-year-old Voorhees woman who they said collided with an SUV causing her death.

According to reports, the crash occurred at South White Horse Pike at United States Avenue at 5:24 p.m.

Police say the woman several occupants in the other vehicle were treated at a hospital immediately after the crash.

The woman's Beetle stopped on United States Avenue, and she tried to make a left turn to go east on South White Horse Pike when her car collided with the SUV, said police.

According to police, they will not release the woman's name until they notify her family.

Local police and the Camden County Crash Response Investigative Team closed South White Horse Pike in both directions for two-and-a-half hours for an investigation, according to police reports.
