Lakewood Police are looking into a car crash that left one person dead overnight Township.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the 100 block of Yale Drive to investigate a crash with injuries reported.
Upon officer's arrival, they found the crash scene with at least one person severely injured at that location.
EMS rushed the victim to Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus where doctors pronounced them dead shortly before 1 a.m. according to reports.
Police set up a crime scene where the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office assisted in the investigation.
There were no reports of arrests.
