Fallen Power Lines Electrocute Two Workers on Garden State Parkway in Middletown
NJ State Police officials temporarily closed all lanes on the Garden State Parkway in Middletown after power lines fell inside a commuter lot shocking two utility workers.
According to a statement released by NJ State Police, the incident happened at approximately 11:15 a.m. near exit 105 where police say two road crew workers -from an unidentified company- were electrocuted and rushed to the hospital where they are in stable condition at this time.
Police closed the highway in both directions for under an hour for the investigation and has since reopened the roadway.
The incident remains under investigation.
