Mercer County authorities are investigating a shooting that sent a man to the hospital in Trenton overnight.
EMS transported the male victim to Capital Health trauma center suffering serious injuries after police found him shot on the border of Trent Avenue and Calhoun Street at around 10:45 a.m.
Police searched the area for suspects as they set up a crime scene to gather evidence to support a motive for the shooting.
There were no other injuries reported.
