Police in Elizabeth are investigating a shooting that left at least one person injured in the city this evening.
Reports of shots fired sent cops to the 200 block of Parker Road at around 6 p.m. where officers canvassed the area and located one person struck by gunfire.
The extent of the victim's injuries are unknown at this time.
There were no reports of arrests made.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
