The Elizabeth Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in locating a missing man.
John "Jay" McNamara, is described as a 40-year-old male, 5'9", 150 pounds, gray hair, and brown eyes.
Officials say John was last reported missing on June 9th by his mom after she last saw him on the 200 block of Halstead Road in Elizabeth.
According to authorities, John is known to frequent the Elizabeth/ Newark border area including Wilson Park located off Virginia Street, Newark Avenue, Frelinghuysen Avenue, and McClellan Street. Police say that John could possibly be staying at an abandoned property next to 9 McClellan Street.
