An evening shooting that caused injuries in Elizabeth has police investigating.
Reports of shots fired that rang out in the 100 block of 5th Street had cops on the scene shortly before 5 p.m. where arriving officers located one person suffering a gunshot injury according to reports.
The victim was transported the hospital where their injury was not immediately reported as life threatening.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
There were no immediate reports of arrests.
