Local and federal authorities are investigating an attempted bank robbery in Elizabeth on Saturday morning.
It happened around 1:10 p.m. at the Bank of America in the 100 block of Jefferson Avenue.
Police began a search for a white male who fled the scene, reportedly wearing a green vest and an orange construction hat.
There were no reports of weapons shown, and no one was injured during the robbery.
The suspect remains at large.
