Police announced this afternoon the arrest of two Elizabeth men in connection with a sexual assault investigation.
According to police, on Oct. 21st, the Roselle Park Police Department (Detectives Richard Cocca and Edward Nortrup) conducted a follow up sexual assault investigation with the assistance of the Union County Prosecutors Office, Special Victims Unit, where the suspects were ultimately identified as Pierre Louis, 22 and Jergens Alcino, 23, both from Elizabeth.
Louis and Alcino were arrested and charged with first degree aggravated sexual assault and second degree sexual assault.
They were lodged into the Union County Jail on over $250,000 bail.
The incident occurred earlier that month, where one of the individuals allegedly used social media to begin a relationship with the female that was reportedly sexual assaulted.
