The 45-year-old man wanted on kidnapping and other charges out of Elizabeth was captured in Pennsylvania Wednesday night.
Police in Elizabeth managed to ping Derek Edward's cellphone Wednesday to the area of Easton, Wilson, Palmer Township and Forks Township, borough.
A search ensued sometime around 1 p.m., until approximately shortly after 11 p.m. when police located Edwards' vehicle in the 1500 block of Northampton Street.
He was subsequently located and arrested.
Edwards is being held at Northampton County Prison awaiting an extradition hearing.
