Elizabeth firefighters battled a structure fire that erupted in a section of the city Saturday evening.
Officials say the fast-moving fire ignited inside a garage located at 547 East Jersey Street just before 9:10 p.m.
According to fire officials, when firefighters arrived at the scene, they found heavy flames coming from the garage used for storage.
As flames began to intensify, fire officials struck a second alarm for manpower.
Crews were able to get the blaze under control in less than an hour with the cause under investigation.
No injuries were reported.
