Easton Police K-9 Unit Joins Philipsburg Overnight Shooting Investigation

An Easton, Pennsylvania, Police K-9 unit was called in to assist with a shooting investigation in Philipsburg, Warren County, after property damage had occurred overnight.

According to a preliminary investigation, the incident, involving multiple rounds of gunfire, happened around 9:35 p.m. in the area of 295 Chambers Street.

Responding officers found several shell casings at the scene and a car with its rear window shot out.

Fortunately, there were no occupants in the vehicle at the time of the shooting.

Initial investigations suggest that four suspects, one wearing a white hooded top, fled the scene in a dark-colored sedan.

Currently, the motive behind the shooting remains unclear and is part of an active and ongoing investigation.

No injuries have been reported in connection with the incident.

The involvement of the K-9 unit indicates a comprehensive approach to tracking down the suspects and uncovering more details about the circumstances of the shooting.
