East Orange Resident Charged with Attacking Victim During Bloomfield Robbery

A swift response by Bloomfield police officers led to the apprehension of a suspect involved in a robbery incident on Bloomfield Avenue last Thursday.

The incident occurred on July 27 while cops were on a routine patrol in the Township. 

The officers were patrolling the area near 240 Bloomfield Avenue when they observed a complainant being forcefully pushed to the ground by another male.

The situation immediately caught the officers' attention, and they promptly intervened to ensure the victim's safety.

Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the male suspect, Mr. Almustafa Mosley, 38, of East Orange, had approached the complainant from behind and forcibly snatched his iPhone.

Bloomfield Police said a struggle ensued between the two, resulting in the complainant falling to the ground and injuring his knee.

Thanks to the decisive actions of the officers, Moseley was swiftly taken into.

He was transported to Bloomfield Police Headquarters, where he would be processed accordingly and face the consequences of his alleged actions.

The quick and effective action by Bloomfield officers demonstrates their dedication to keeping the community safe and swiftly bringing those who violate the law to justice.
