East Orange Native Douglas Chosen in 3rd Round by The Philadelphia Eagles

Rasul Douglas was recruited out of East Orange and sat out his first year at Nassau Community College in New York where he took a playmaking role and developed into a junior college All-American with 7.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions, and 15 pass breakup.

According to NFL.com, offers came from Florida State and Louisville, but Douglas decided to stay nearer to home in Morgantown.

He played in 11 games in 2015 (eight tackles, one INT) before once again stepping up to tie for the national lead with eight interceptions (along with 70 tackles, 3.5 for loss, and eight pass breakups) in 2016 NFL.com said.

Douglas was chosen 3rd Round by the Philadelphia Eagles.
