Police reported no serious injuries in a shooting in a section of Newark's West Ward on Tuesday morning.
It happened around 12:45 a.m. in the 70's block of North Munn.
A ShotSpotter device activated and alerted police of a shooting, and when officers arrived, they found shell casings, but a search of the neighborhood indicated no victims.
Newark Shooting Response units were dispatched to the scene to assist in the investigation.
Authorities reported no arrests.
