Police in Newark are investigating an early morning shooting that left a male victim seriously injured early this morning in the city.
A male victim victim was transported to University Hospital via private vehicle around 2:30 a.m. after being seriously wounded in the area of 14th Ave. and Camden Street. Police setup a crime scene, searching the area for a suspect and other evidence.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation. This was the fourth overnight shooting in the city.
