Authorities are investigating an early morning shooting that left a 19-year-old Passaic man hospitalized with non-fatal gunshot wounds.

According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In-Charge Patrick Murray, police were notified at approximately 4:20 a.m. on November 1, after the victim arrived at Hackensack University Medical Center in a private vehicle seeking treatment.
Investigators determined that the shooting occurred in the area of Third Avenue and East 26th Street in Paterson.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
