The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office was notified of a shooting that sent a man to the hospital in Paterson Sunday morning.
Police responded to reports of shots fired in the 30's block of North Main Street around 3:35 a.m.
When officers arrived, they found the 29-year-old male suffering a bullet wounds to his torso.
The victim was rushed to St. Joseph's Medical Center for treatment and listed in stable condition.
Police say the suspect fled the scene and is at large.
