Authorities in Passaic are investigating after gunfire rang out in the city during the early morning hours on Saturday.
According to information released by Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic Police Chief Luis A. Guzman, officers were dispatched around 3:23 a.m. to the area of Third Street and Essex Street following reports of shots fired.
When officers arrived, they located a potential crime scene but confirmed that no individuals were struck by the gunfire.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. Officials said additional details will be provided once they become available.
