There is an active and ongoing investigation into a shooting that sent multiple people to the hospital this morning in Camden.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the vicinity of 619 Ferry Avenue at around 4 a.m.
Police officers arrived at the scene requested EMS on the rush after they immediately found three people bleeding after being shot at that location.
Police searching the area said they found a fourth person suffering a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg according to officials.
The extent of injuries for the other three victims could not be confirmed.
Police set up a crime scene where they searched for evidence, possible suspects and other victims.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
