An early morning fire forced the evacuation of an assisted living facility in Burlington County on Monday, displacing around 50 residents but causing no serious injuries, according to reports. Firefighters were dispatched at approximately 2:30 a.m. to the “Lifetime With Cyrus” Assisted Living building located at 175 Tuckerton Road after reports of smoke coming from the rear of the structure.

Upon arrival, fire crews found smoke conditions and initiated immediate evacuation procedures. As a precaution, up to four alarms were struck to bring in additional manpower from surrounding departments.

Firefighters worked quickly to locate the seat of the fire and stretched multiple lines to bring the blaze under control.

Despite the significant response, officials reported no serious injuries among residents or staff.

The displaced individuals were relocated temporarily as the facility was cleared and secured. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by local authorities.

Emergency crews remained on the scene into the morning to assess damage and assist residents and staff.
