A shooting that left two people seriously injured in Paterson is under investigation.
The early morning shooting happened at around 5:15 a.m. in the 60's block of Montclair Avenue sending police to the scene where officers arrived to find two victims shot multiple times at that location.
According to initial reports, one of the victims was found struck three times while the other victim was struck twice.
Both victims were rushed to St. Joseph's Hospital in serious condition.
Police taped off the entrance of the Montclair Deli where detectives were seen searching for evidence.
Detectives set up a crime scene where they searched for evidence that would assist in finding the motive for the shooting.
There were no arrests made.
