Police in Linden temporarily closed a road in Linden after an early morning crash caused downed power lines and a pole.
It happened in the vicinity of North Stiles Street and Springfield Road at approximately 4:00 a.m. where police and firefighters arrived at the scene to find a vehicle crashed into a pole with wires down and a damaged pole.
Police closed North Stiles in both directions then called PSEG crews to make repairs.
There were no severe injuries reported.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
