Police in Asbury Park are investigating a shooting that injured several people early this morning in the city.
Cops responded to reports of shots fired that erupted in the 1500 block of Springwood Avenue where officers arrived to find two people suffering injury from gunfire.
EMS transported the victims to an area hospital where their injuries were not reported as life threatening.
There were unconfirmed reports that at least one other person was transported by private vehicle to the hospital in an unknown condition.
Asbury Park Police are investigating a motive for the shootings.
There were no arrests reported.
