The Bloomfield Police Department will be conducting a DWI Sobriety Checkpoint on December 29th.
Officials say the checkpoint will take place on Bloomfield Avenue in response to statistics demonstrating a disproportionate number of impaired driving incidents in the area.
These operations are being conducted to raise awareness of impaired driving by educating motorists and arresting impaired drivers.
