A 15-year-old Dumont High School student was taken into custody after a
gun was found at his home Monday.
According to authorities, police responded to Dumont High School, located on New Milford Avenue, shortly before noon after the school received a threat, at which time the school was placed on a brief lockdown.
Authorities located and arrested the 15-year-old male sometime around 1:15 p.m. in one of the classrooms.
The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office is investigating the incident.
