Driver Injured in Linden Armed Carjacking

Linden Police detectives are looking for two suspects wanted for a carjacking Sunday. 

According to officials,  at approximately 8:15 p.m., Linden officers responded to Aviation Plaza on reports of a carjacking.   

Police said a 23-year man left a store and was approached from behind as he returned to his vehicle, a blue 2020 BMW M8, that was parked in a lot of the shopping center.


Linden Police say one of the men ran up behind the victim and struck him in the head with a handgun.

A second man took the victim's keys and fled the scene in the victim's BMW. A third man was reportedly also involved.   

According to Lincoln Police, the suspects are described as a black man, one of whom is approximately 5'6, holding a handgun, possibly wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt.   

The victim was treated for minor injuries on the scene.
