Police in Camden County are investigating a serious crash that left at least one person injured early Saturday morning. The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under active investigation.
According to preliminary information, emergency responders were called to the area of 1839 Admiral Wilson Boulevard in Camden after receiving reports of a crash with injuries.
When officers arrived, they found a vehicle that had slammed into a pole.
The victim was reportedly unconscious at the scene and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Their condition has not yet been officially confirmed, but early reports indicate the individual may be in serious condition.
Police closed the two right lanes of the roadway while investigators worked at the scene. 
Weather conditions are believed to have been a possible factor in the crash. No additional injuries were reported.
The investigation remains ongoing.
