Police have a crime scene established and an investigation underway into a shooting that injured a female victim in Newark Tuesday evening.
According to police, at approximately 11:35 p.m., gunfire rang out in the 200 block of South 10th Street, sending police to the area to investigate.
Units arrived and found the unconscious and unresponsive victim suffering bullet wounds.
Police say the suspects fled the scene in a 2019 white Mercedes truck with Florida license plate number “647-QCU” and is at large.
Authorities say this is possibly a domestic violence incident.
The victim suffered fatal injuries at this time.
Police said the motive for the shooting is under investigation
