There is a significant police presence on the scene of an incident where an armed car guard at bank fired shots at a suspect who reportedly tried to rob them this afternoon.
It happened at The Bank of America located in the 700 block of Hamburg Turnpike just before 12:25 p.m.
Police say the suspect approached the Brinks armored car guard in an attempt to commit the robbery.
One suspect was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound in his stomach and remain in an unknown condition.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
