EMS rushed a 47-year-old female to the hospital after a vehicle struck her in South Orange this afternoon.
Emergency responders rushed to the South Orange Middle School located in the 70’s block of North Ridgewood Avenue just before 4:15 p.m. after they received multiple calls reporting a person struck by a vehicle at that location.
Firefighters and rescue crews found the woman pinned under the vehicle and began the process of extricating her using airbags and other tools according to preliminary reports.
The extent of the woman’s injuries have only been reported as serious at this time.
