DEVELOPING PATERSON: Night of Violence Ends with Three Victims Entering St. Joseph's Hospital Suffering Gunshot Wounds

There were a total of three people shots in a night of violence that occurred in Paterson.

In one of the incidents, police say officials at the St. Joseph's Hospital contacted them when two victims entered the emergency department suffering non-life threatening gunshot wounds at around 12:55 a.m.

Police arrived at the hospital and were told by the victims that the incident happened at an unspecified location just before they arrived at the medical center. Officials immediately launched an investigation into the incident.

According to police, at approximately 3:20 a.m., a third victim suffering a gunshot wound arrived at the hospital and told police that bullets struck them near the Bonfire Mofongo House and Lounge located in the 900 block of Market Street.

Police say the victim's injuries were not considered life-threatening and they are attempting to determine if both incidents are related.

There were no arrests reported.
