Police have a crime scene established in the vicinity of 189 Pacific Street as detectives investigate the motive behind a shooting that injured one person on Saturday evening.
According to police, gunfire rang out at around 6 p.m. sending officers to the scene where they found the unidentified victim suffering bullet wounds.
The victim was rushed to St. Joseph’s Hospital in an unknown condition.
Police say the suspect wore a dark-colored hoodie and fled the scene on Marshall Street towards Clifton.
The investigation into the shooting remains active and ongoing.
