Police found a man bleeding and lying on his back after a gunman fired a shot that struck him this evening in the city’s South Ward.
According to police, the victim, who wore light-colored clothing, was found in the middle of the street on the 40’s block of Evergreen Avenue at around 8 p.m.
Police say the identified gunman fired at the victim, striking him in the hip.
EMS rushes the victim to University Hospital in stable condition according to police.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
