That police activity in the area of Clinton Place and Lyons Avenue is officers investigating shots fired incident with confirmed injuries at this time.
Gunfire rang out in the 300 block of Lyons Avenue at around 8 a.m. rushing police to the scene where they found a male victim suffering a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg according to preliminary reports.
EMS transported the victim to the hospital for treatment.
The motive for the shooting has not been determined at this time.
