Police have a crime scene established in the vicinity of 16th Street and 14th Avenue as investigators search the area for a suspect wanted for a shooting that injured a male this evening.
According to police, gunfire rang out at around 5:30 p.m. sending officers to the scene where they found the victim suffering a bullet wound in his leg.
The victim was rushed to University Hospital in stable condition.
The suspect fled the scene and remains at-large.
