Police are on the scene of a shooting with a male down at a location in Newark’s Central Ward at this time.
Details are developing but according to preliminary reports, gunfire rang on in the vicinity of Prince and West Kinney streets at around 3:30 p.m. sending police to the scene where officers arrived and found a male shot multiple times at that location.
Police have a crime scene established and an investigation underway.
The condition of the victim has not been revealed at this time.
