A shooting inside a Newark high rise building has police on the scene investigating.
Reports of shots fired sent police to 175 First Street (Garden Spires) at around 7:55 p.m. where arriving officers located the male victim unconscious and unresponsive after being shot at that location.
Officers reportedly located the victim in the stairwell of the 17th floor reports said.
There is a crime scene established and an investigation underway.
