There are life threatening injuries for one of three victims suffering gunshot wounds at this time in a Newark neighborhood.
Police responded to reports of shots fired in the teens block of Lincoln Park at around 6:10 p.m. where arriving officers found three victims shot at that location.
According to preliminary reports, one of the victims is suffering "life threatening injuries" while the other two victims are in stable condition at this time.
The gunman reportedly fled the scene immediately after the shooting.
There is a crime scene established and an investigation underway.

UPDATE 6:51 p.m. One walk-in victim reported at University Hospital. Unknown condition . Unconfirmed location where victim was shot at.
UPDATE: A second victim has been pronounced dead. The University Hospital walk-in shooting victim suffered injuries at this location.
This incident makes it eight people shot in less than 24-hours in the city.
