Police are on the scene of a shooting with a male down on North 6th Street at this time.
According to preliminary reports, gunfire rang out in the 40’s block at approximately 7:30 p.m. sending police officers to the scene to investigating.
When officers arrived, they found a severely injured male suffering from gunshot wounds at that location.
The unidentified victim was rushed to University Hospital for treatment while police combed the scene checking for evidence and any other possible victims.
This is the third person shot in that immediate area in about a week with one of the victims suffering fatal injuries.
The suspects for all the shootings remain at-large.
