Police are on the scene of a shooting with a male shot at a location in Newark’s Central Ward at this time.
According to police, gunfire erupted near 9 Dolby Place at around 1:10 p.m. where officers arrived to find a several shell casings and a person struck by a bullet.
The victim was rushed to University Hospital in an unknown condition.
There is a crime scene established and an investigation underway. The suspect remains at-large.
