Police have a crime scene established on South 20th Street as detectives investigate the shots-fired incident with a confirmed hit at this time.
According to police, gunfire rang out at approximately 3:30 p.m. in the vicinity of 389 South 20th Street.
When police arrived at the scene after a ShotSpotter alerted them of the shooting, then found the male victim suffering a bullet wound in his leg.
The victim was transported to University Hospital for treatment.
There were no arrests reported.
Avoid the area as police conduct their investigation.
