Police in Jersey City are investigating a double shooting that occurred at a location in the city this afternoon.
Reports of shots fire sent police to the vicinity of 12 Grant Avenue at approximately 12:30 p.m. where officers arrived to find two victims suffering gunshot wounds.
According to preliminary reports, a gunman exited a silver or light-colored Pontiac and began firing rounds in the direction of the victims.
One of the victims was struck in the shoulder while the second victim suffered gunshot wounds to the back according to reports.
The vehicle was last observed fleeing towards Newark.
