An overnight shooting in Newark left several people injured and police investigating.
Reports of multiple shots fired that rang out in the area of Clinton Ave. and Wright Street shortly before 10:30 p.m. sent heavy police presence to the scene where they found a vehicle shot up with several people inside.
First responders pulled two men and a woman from the vehicle who were struck by gunfire. All three were rushed to University Hospital with the woman reportedly suffering gunshot wounds to the face, leg, and back. The male victims suffered non-life threatening gunshot wounds. Police believe that a fourth victim was shot inside the car but has yet to be located.
