A car crash that left one person dead on a Tinton Falls highway has police investigating.
Emergency responders were called to the 4200 block of NJ-33 shortly before 10 p.m. after receiving reports of a crash with injuries.
Upon arrival, they found an injured, unconscious and unresponsive person inside a vehicle at that location.
Medical staff pronounced the unidentified victim dead a short time later.
A crash investigation team was called to the scene to investigate the cause of the crash.
There were no other serious injuries reported.
